2025 - 48.2 % increase

In 2025 we experienced a 48.1% significant request for service. This huge increase also increases operating costs.

August 15th 2026 -5 Years of Service To Sector 6

It seems like yesterday that we were asked to start a fire and ambulance services in 2013. We started by training volunteers, bringing equipment and apparatus here to El Centenario and moving into an abandoned building to use as a fire station.

2025 Ends with 926 Response

In 2025 we were very busy with an average of 2.53 responses every day of the year.
On Friday May 2nd we had 13 medical responses in one day.
On Friday April 4th, we had 3 fires in one day.

Sector 6 includes Chametla and El Centenario and 3 other colonials north of El Centenario

The majority of our activity is in El Centenario, over the last five years. Medical response are the majority.

When Is The Next Response?

This is the question every volunteer has everyday.  As you look at the data, you can see what days and also what time of the day that we expect to receive a call for help. On Tuesday at 10am and then again at 6pm we will have a medical emergency.

Activity Levels Continue To Increase

The activity just seems to continue on an upward path with no end in sight. Fires has also increased each year.

As you can see in 2025 we had a significant increase in medical responses.
On Friday May 2nd 2025 we had 13 medical responses in one day.

Five Year Totals

2,682 responses over the past five years is concerning with the amount of medical emergencies we have.

The bottom chart shows where we have been responding over the last five years. Our primary concern is for Sector 6, but you can see how times we have provide service to the City of La Paz.
Why? No ambulances working or available!
