The ZOLL Plus is a top of the line unit and it uses off the shelf "D" lithium batteries so we do not need to spend huge amounts for batteries.
Two units are needed, one for ambulance 602 and one for fire engine 611.
Modern "turn out gear" is the one item that can save our lives.
A current, Mexico-purchase budget for one complete structural PPE set. (helmet, coat, pants, leather structural boots, gloves, hood, rechargeable right-angle light). This equipment is constructed with special fabric to provide the necessary safety for the volunteers.
Most often we use water to extinguish fires. We need a variety of fire hoses to accomplish getting the water on the fire..
The typical standard length is 50 feet. Most fires can require several sections of hoses and various sizes to reach the fire..
